A research review of the scholarly role of women in the process of formation and construction of the state of Madinah by Ummahat ul-Momineen
Abstract
Islam is a universal religion, its civilization, its discipline, rules and regulations and method of education and training are eternal and universal. This is the reason why Islam has always been an open enemy of ignorance, illiteracy and vagrancy and a sincere companion and friend of knowledge, modesty and decorum. Therefore, he addressed humanity with the word "Iqra" without discrimination. In addition to the Holy Qur'an, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered to acquire it without discrimination and explained its importance and excellence, meaning that knowledge of religion is necessary for all Muslims. Acquiring is obligatory. Its ruling is for both men and women and the scholars of the Ummah agree on it. It was the result of this courage and courage that the Arab nation, whose glory was "Ummat", which was far away from knowledge and culture and in which those who knew how to read and write were counted on the fingers, was well discussed. Knowledge, various sciences and arts were patronized and many new sciences and arts came into existence. Slaves and slaves also began to be adorned with the jewel of knowledge. One of the major objections raised against Islam is that it has excluded women from the field of knowledge. He keeps them from playing an active role in the society by imprisoning them within the four walls of the house. It strictly forbids the mixing of men and women, thereby depriving women of benefiting from knowledge and benefiting from men in the field of knowledge. The plight of women during the decline of Muslims justifies this objection, but the position and status of women in Muslim society in the early centuries completely refutes this objection. . Both men and women are active in the field of knowledge and utility in the Prophetic era. Ummat al-Momineen had a very important role in this matter.
