The modern era of Islamic history is known for presenting Islamic sciences in a modern and creative way. Particularly, the life of the Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W), since his biography and characters enlighten the route of Islam for Muslims. One of those creative scholars is Shaikh Mohammad al-Ghazazli. His book “Fiqh al-Seerah” is widespread among Muslim scholars and preachers. Ghazali followed a special approach in developing this book, that seems different than the usual methodology followed by Muslim writers. He provides historical facts in a concise manner focusing more on extracting messages from the life of the Prophet (S.A.W) and touching the soul and emotion of readers pushing them to love and follow the Prophet (S.A.W). Following a descriptive and analytical method, he extracts precious lessons from the life of the Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) for Muslim preachers combining between the old and the modern approach and exploring the reality of Islam. Furthermore, he criticises allegations spread around the history of Mohammad (S.A.W) Although, the way the author presents facts and the topics of the book have similarities with the overall books written in this field, but still, he has his own characteristics that makes his work unique. Finally, the author’s experience in the field of Dawat helped him to present the book in this wonderful shape connecting between the current era and the early history of Islam.
