Abstract

This research paper aims to explore the reasons behind the non-development of Muslim society in light of the Seerat-e-Tayyaba (the life of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him). The study examines how the teachings and principles from the Prophet’s life, when applied to contemporary society, may reveal the reasons for stagnation or underdevelopment within the Muslim world. Sociology, which studies the collective behavior of people in society and their relationships, plays a crucial role in understanding the dynamics of any given society. In this context, the paper investigates the influence of factors such as lineage, financial resources, education, gender, caste, and religion on social structures, as well as the role of faith and training in shaping an individual’s contribution to society. By analyzing the importance of social welfare and the solutions offered through the Prophet’s teachings, this research highlights how the Muslim community's failure to integrate these principles into modern life has contributed to societal challenges. It further explores how the Seerat-e-Tayyaba can offer valuable lessons in overcoming these barriers, promoting progress and cohesion within Muslim society today.
